Systematic name: citrate oxaloacetate-lyase (forming acetate from the pro-S carboxymethyl group of citrate)
Comments: The enzyme can be dissociated into components, two of which are identical with EC 184.108.40.206 (citrate CoA-transferase) and EC 220.127.116.11 (citryl-CoA lyase). EC 18.104.22.168 (citrate lyase deacetylase) thiolesterase, deacetylates and inactivates the enzyme.
