Comments: The enzyme from Thermotoga maritima also performs the reaction of EC 6.3.2.7, UDP-N-acetylmuramoyl-L-alanyl-D-glutamate–L-lysine ligase. Involved in the synthesis of cell-wall peptidoglycan.
